W.Bro. R.J. Spiers, PM of the Alfred Lodge, Deputy Provincial Grand Master, edited the first edition of 'The Freemasons' Calendar for the Province of Oxfordshire. It was printed by E.W. Morris and appears to be the earliest instance of a Provincial Calendar.
